The Assessor’s Department is responsible for the assessment and listing of all taxable property within Lewiston. The following information may be obtained at the assessor’s office.
NOTICE: While City Hall is closed to the public during the COVID-19 outbreak, please mail, scan and email, or fax Exemption Forms due April 1st, and Personal Property Forms due May 1st rather than dropping them off at City Hall. Forms can be mailed to Lewiston Assessing Department, 27 Pine Street, Lewiston, ME 04240. Exemption Forms can be scanned and emailed to Assessors@Lewistonmaine.gov. Personal Property Forms can be scanned and emailed to PersonalProperty@lewistonmaine.gov. Forms can be faxed to (207) 784-2959. If you need assistance please call (207) 513-3122 or email one of the email addresses listed above. Finally, we can meet by appointment at City Hall, but please be advised we’re trying to limit meeting in person at this time.

BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW MEETING
The Lewiston Board of Assessment Review will hold a meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. by Zoom, to review and sign the notice of decision for the property owned by Peoples Heritage Savings Bank C/o TD Bank, NA at 6 Atlantis Way. The meeting will be recorded and will be made available to the public upon request by emailing email@example.com
Tax Rate for 2019-2020 is $28.91 Per $1,000.
