12/23/20 Virtual "Lighting Up Lewiston" Celebration Ceremony!

The City of Lewiston and the Lewiston Lighting Committee wish to thank the many sponsors of globes to light up Dufresne Plaza on Lisbon Street for the 2020 holiday season, as well as adding some additional lighting in our Southern Gateway. This beautification began the winter of 2019 with Kennedy Park decorated with a multitude of white lit globes--to rave reviews! It is intended that "Lighting Up Lewiston" will continue in a new area each year.  Below are those who donated for 2020 to highlight an anniversary, remember a loved one, pay tribute to someone, or for the love of community. Thank you!  

*The plaza was named after Chief Justice Armand A. Dufresne, Jr., in 2012.
