COMMUNITY FORESTRY BOARD - This is a committee which will develop and implement a Community Forest Program, advocate for the community forest, advise and consult on community forestry issues and projects, and develop and advise on policy changes for the City Councils of Lewiston and Auburn. In addition, the Board will develop a plan for and provide advice on management of the public sector portion of the community forest and educate the communities about the community forest and how to care for it. This is a joint citizen committee with the City of Auburn.
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month, 7 p.m., alternate between Lewiston and Auburn
