Responsibilities

Public Works Dispatch is staffed by three personnel. The Operation’s primary function is to answer citizen’s calls for information, manage the tracking system for resolutions of citizen complaints, assist citizens with their requests for service, and provide assistance for resolutions to citizen’s concerns. The staff is also a special link between our customers and all Public Works Divisions. During an average year, 2,000 customer concerns are received and processed.

Regular Operations are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours and weekend Emergency Call customers are instructed to hang up and dial 911 for assistance.
