It is the policy of this Department that all complaints be thoroughly investigated and that the investigation be conducted in a timely fashion. The investigation will be impartially conducted to ensure that the rights of all concerned are fully protected. If your allegations are substantiated, the offending member or employee may face criminal or administrative proceedings depending on case facts. Malicious or deliberately made false accusations made against members or employees may result in criminal prosecution against the offending party. You will be contacted within 14 days to advise you of the investigation's progress. You will be contacted to notify you of any change of status, and you will be contacted at the conclusion of the investigation to notify you of the investigation's results.
